Director's interests in ordinary shares

St. James’s Place Capital plc (“SJPC”) was today notified of the following interests in ordinary shares of 15p in SJPC held by the Directors of SJPC named below. These interests result from the transfer of shares to the Directors today by S G Hambros Trust Company (Guernsey) Limited, trustees of the SJPC Deferred Bonus Scheme.
The shares are held by SJPC on behalf of the Directors for a restricted period ending on 01 April 2005.
With the exception of the changes notified below, the Directors interests in ordinary shares of SJPC are unchanged.
