Change in director share options

Messrs Mike Wilson, David Bellamy and Martin Moule, Directors of St. James’s Place Capital plc (“SJPC”) have today notified SJPC of the following changes in options held by them over shares in SJPC:
On 11 September 2002 the abovementioned Directors were granted options under the SJPC Sharesave Share Option Scheme to acquire ordinary shares of 15p each in SJPC at an exercise price of 104p per share as set out below:

Furthermore, on 11 September 2002 Mr Moule cancelled an option granted under the SJPC Sharesave Share Option Scheme on 27 March 2001 to acquire 2,299 ordinary shares of 15p each in SJPC, with an exercise price of 337p per share.
With the exception of the changes notified above, the interests of Mr Wilson, Mr Bellamy and Mr Moule in the shares of SJPC are unchanged.
