SJPC was today notified of the following acquisitions of ordinary shares of 15p in SJPC, by S G Hambros Trust Company (Guernsey) Limited.

S G Hambros Trust Company (Guernsey) Limited is trustee of the SJPC Employees Share Trust, the potential beneficiaries of which include executive directors and employees of the SJPC Group.
In addition, SJPC was today advised by Mr David Bellamy, an executive director of SJPC, that on 28 February 2003 Mr Bellamy closed the five-year Sharesave account opened by him in August 1997. The associated Sharesave option over 16,121 SJPC ordinary shares of 15p each granted to Mr Bellamy on 11 August 1997 at an option price of 107p per share has therefore lapsed.
SJPC was also advised today by Mr Mike Wilson, an executive director of SJPC, that on 28 February 2003 Mr Wilson closed the five-year Sharesave account opened by him in August 1997. The associated Sharesave option over 16,121 SJPC ordinary shares of 15p each granted to Mr Wilson on 11 August 1997 at an option price of 107p per share has therefore lapsed.
With the exception of the changes notified above, the interests of Mr Wilson and Mr Bellamy in the shares of SJPC are unchanged.
