St. James's Place plc does not authorise third parties to contact shareholders by any method regarding the sale or purchase of St. James's Place plc shares. Any such calls, emails or mailings received should be treated with extreme caution.

The Financial Services Authority, City of London Police, the Serious Fraud Office, the Serious Organised Crime Agency and every police force in the country have launched Operation Archway to target boiler room scams. The aim of the operation is to gather information from shareholders who have been approached by, or been victims of boiler room operations.
